Frequently Asked Questions

How many clients do you work with at one time?

I do not work from a fixed client-count model. Capacity is based on the time, attention, and complexity each engagement requires. I scope work carefully to make sure I can fully commit to the clients and projects I take on.

What do you need from me in order for the work to go well?

In most cases, I need timely access to the relevant systems, tools, and information, along with clear goals, prompt communication, and reasonable response times. The strongest results come from a collaborative process with shared clarity around priorities and expectations.

Do you offer one-time projects, or only ongoing support?

Both. Some clients come to me for a focused one-time project, while others need ongoing support through fractional leadership or embedded customer support. Some businesses also return periodically as new needs come up.

Do you offer hourly support?

For founders who want occasional guidance without a larger engagement, I offer paid consulting sessions booked through Calendly. These sessions are designed for focused support, troubleshooting, feedback, or strategy conversations rather than hourly task-based work.

What if I’m not sure which service I need?

That’s completely fine. Many businesses know something feels messy, inefficient, or too dependent on the founder before they know exactly what kind of support would help most. A free consultation can help clarify which service, if any, makes the most sense for your business.

What happens before work begins?

Before any work begins, I take time to understand the scope, goals, systems involved, and level of support needed. From there, I provide a clear outline of what is included, how pricing works, and what to expect so the engagement is well-scoped and we are fully aligned on the work, the goals, and the direction from the start.

What is the free consultation?

The free consultation is a non-committal starting point. It gives us a chance to talk through what is happening in your business, where support may be feeling messy or unsustainable, and what kind of help might make the most sense. It is designed to bring some clarity to your needs, explore next steps, and determine whether working together feels like the right fit.

Do you carry business insurance?

Yes. Design Your Support carries professional liability insurance as part of operating responsibly and professionally. Proof of coverage is available upon request.

Design your support.

If you’re here, chances are something feels messy, inconsistent, or harder than it should be. Let’s talk about what’s not working and what a better support experience could look like.

No pressure. No sales pitch. I’m only interested in working together if it feels like the right fit for both of us.

Let’s make your support feel easier, cleaner, and more effective.
